Here is a basic pattern using the basic steps, turn pattern both for ladies and gentlemen and a partnered slide step.
Bachata Urban Pattern:
Bachata has evolved into much more sustanon 250 cycle than just traditional steps and variations. In This video we can see the basic side-to-side steps found in urban/modern bachata.
Bachata Urban Basic:
The Bachata box/square is a borrowed from the Cuban Son Basic steps and have many variations in terms of timing and which steps go forward and which go side. This video has one of the variations.

Bachata was first danced traditionally without much turns. It’s figures included forward and back movements and squared or boxed movements traditionally found in the Cuban bolero and altered with a tap/break after 3 steps.
Basic:
Bachata is a music and dance genre from the Dominican Republic. In this video we give a brief explanation of what is Bachata; including the music, dance, cultural aspects, and the brief history of the genre.
